This project took me on a week long expedition to the remote Mongolian wilderness. Cold Hands, Warm Hearts is an intimate look at a nomadic family living in the heart of the Mongolian steppe. It documents their daily routine as they honour and preserve their traditional culture and way of life as it collides with the 21st century and modern technology. Offering a glimpse into this often romanticised nomadic way of life, showing the true grittiness and reality of continuing the traditional practice of pastoral herding in the contemporary world.
