We are storytelling creatures.

From ancient fireside tales to modern-day Instagram reels, storytelling is how we make sense of the world. It’s how we connect, how we learn, how we remember. Every photograph, every still frame — it all starts with a story.

When I first picked up a camera, I thought I was learning about light and composition. But what I was really learning was empathy. Film school gave me the tools, but it was the stories of extraordinary people doing ordinary things with grit and heart that shaped my voice.

Since then, I’ve carved my own path — one that blends creativity with time spent outdoors, championing people who are doing their own thing, in their own environment. I’m inspired by those who show determination and spirit, and I strive to reflect that honestly and sensitively in my work.

Over the years, as a filmmaker and photographer I’ve worked with global NGOs, leading outdoor brands, and grassroots charities — telling stories that span continents, causes, and communities. These experiences continue to deepen my belief in the power of visual storytelling to foster understanding and drive change.

Now, at this point in my career, I want to focus more intentionally on documentary work — stories with substance that connect us to people and planet. Stories that challenge, inspire, and leave a meaningful impact on the world around us, told through a stylised documentary lens.

Whether capturing a quiet moment or a bold adventure, I look for the thread of truth and bring it gently into view. Because the best stories aren’t always loud — but they linger.
