Food Works

Food Works Sheffield is a community-led response to a broken food system. They take surplus and locally grown produce and turn it into good, affordable food through their cafes, markets, and ready meals. My ongoing project with Food Works documents the people and places that make this work possible - from the growers at Norton Nurseries to the warehouse where food is sorted, stored, and shared. The photographs are part of a book they’re publishing, celebrating the communities finding practical, hopeful ways to change how we eat and think about food.
