Capturing the essence and soul of your wedding.
WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY ROOTED IN STORYTELLING, EMOTION AND CURIOSITY. EXPRESSED THOUGH CANDID MOMENTS, VIVID COLOURS AND A HEARTFELT APPROACH.
MY APPROACH
Where it all comes together
My middle name is Mylinh, which means beautiful soul. It's also my mother's maiden name, and it sits at the heart of everything I create.
Every wedding is its own small world, full of people who love you, gathered on the one day to say so. I still find that remarkable. To me, wedding photography is about more than beautiful images. It's about preserving the moments that make your day uniquely yours: the laughter, the quiet glances, the people you love, and everything in between.
I grew up in the countryside, where I learned to notice the beauty in the overlooked and the extraordinary hidden within the everyday. That curiosity still shapes the way I photograph today. Before weddings, I spent over 10 years in documentary and editorial photography: long-form stories about people, place and the quiet resilience of everyday life. That work taught me to observe before directing, to build trust before taking photographs, and to create images that feel honest, thoughtful and deeply human.
Weddings felt like a natural place to bring it all together. Everything I've always been drawn to (joy, connection and humanity) exists here too. Just with better outfits. Rather than chasing perfection, I'm drawn to the moments that reveal who you are: the spontaneous laughter, the fleeting expressions, the imperfect details and the quiet connections that often become the most meaningful memories.
I hope the photographs I make feel less like a record of your wedding and more like a way back into it. Something you can hold, years from now, and feel exactly what the day felt like.
NOTES ON WORKING WITH ME…
On the day
I bring a relaxed, intuitive approach. I move quietly, observing, anticipating and photographing pretty much continuously (except when you're eating, because a girl's gotta let you enjoy your dinner).
Your favourite people become my favourite people. I'll step in when it helps, but for most of the day, you probably won't notice I'm there.
You don't need to know how to pose, and you definitely don't need to perform. I'll give you just enough direction when it's needed, then leave space for the moments in between.
My style
Unfussy, warm, a little wild. A day in the life of people who love each other. Nothing feels precious or over-directed; it feels lived-in. Documentary at its core. Warm, colourful and quietly cinematic. Images with movement, texture and feeling, shaped by real moments rather than perfect poses.
I chase natural light in all its forms (golden hour, dappled shade, soft window light and stormy skies) and lean into grain, texture and rich colour for photographs that feel nostalgic and alive.
Feeling first
I'm not there to direct your day. I'm there to notice it. Years behind the camera have taught me to trust what's already there: the in-between glance, the terrible dance move, the moment nobody was performing for.
That's what I'm chasing, not a highlight reel but a true one. I photograph with a quiet presence, letting the day unfold naturally while keeping an eye on the moments you'll want to remember long after it's over.
MATCHMADE
Are we a fit?
You'd rather have candid than composed.
You care more about feeling than perfection.
You want photographs that remind you what your wedding felt like, not just what it looked like.
You've planned your day with intention, but you don't take yourselves too seriously.
You trust me to notice the moments you don't even realise are happening.
Whether you're getting married on a windswept hillside, beneath ancient trees, in a village pub, a family garden or a beautifully restored mill, what matters most is that your wedding feels like you.
If you're drawn to wild places, meaningful celebrations and photographs with heart, we'll probably get along just fine.

Every wedding is different, so there's no fixed number, but as a guide:
Ceremony only (2 hours): around 150-200 images
Half day (4 hours): around 300-400 images
Full day (8 hours): around 500-700 images
Rather than aiming for a certain quantity, I focus on telling the story of your day thoughtfully and completely. You'll receive everything that matters: the big moments, the quiet ones and all the little details in between.
-
Calmly, quietly and with intention.
For most of the day, I'm simply observing what's unfolding around me rather than directing it. I'll step in when it helps, for family photographs, a little guidance during portraits or if you need an extra pair of hands, but otherwise, I want you to experience your wedding, not your photoshoot.
-
You'll receive a small preview gallery within a few days of your wedding, so you have something to relive and share while everything is still fresh.
Your full gallery is carefully edited and delivered within 2 months.
-
Yes. I usually recommend keeping them short and sweet so they don't interrupt the flow of your day. My approach is to keep it informal and relaxed, with natural groupings rather than working through every possible combination of family and friends. You’ll nominate someone who knows your family to help gather everyone.
