Sheffield Council: Community Report

Working with the Public Health team at Sheffield City Council, these images were created for Where Communities Lead, a report exploring how large anchor organisations, including local authorities and NHS organisations, can support mental health and wellbeing through community groups. The photography was commissioned to provide Sheffield-based imagery for the publication, grounding the report in the people, places, and communities it represents.

We visited a number of groups and initiatives across Sheffield where community-led action is already making a difference, documenting examples of partnership, care, and local leadership. These include food banks, community gardens, arts groups, libraries, and neighbourhood litter-picking projects, each reflecting the importance of community, collective action, and the vital role local groups play in supporting wellbeing across the city.
